I like it when that pantywaist Alex plays rugby even though he is in no way prepared to handle it.

My fave vacation episodes will always be the ones in which ABC shows go to some Disney theme park. Those always remind me of the quality family entertainment that the Disney Corporation provides America.

i know that growing pains went to hawaii, and i think that perfect strangers went to vist Balki's home in Mypos. I have no clue about Facts of life. also, Full house went to Hawaii and also to visit Uncle Jessie's family in Greece.

These may be before some peoples time but I am 27 and I grew up watching syndicated shows from the sixties (and thanks to TVLand can watch them again):
--The Beverly Hillbillies went to England after inheriting the Clampett family castle.
--Andy, Opie, and Aunt Bea went to Hollywood to watch the filming of a movie based on Andy's life (titled: Sheriff Without A Gun) in the Andy Griffith Show. (While there Aunt Bea went on a game show and won kitchen appliances)
--Didn't the Facts of Life crew go to either Paris or Australia?
--I am thinking that the Munsters took a vacation to a Navada ghost town, but I may be confusing that with another show? Does this ring any bells?

I agree with Ol' Fezziwig about Head of the Class. I remember a vacation episode for them. Could've sworn it was on a beach or something. I seem to remember Simone in a swimsuit...

The Facts of Life girls (and Mrs. Garret, of course) went to Australia. I remember that Natalie lost her backpack, which also contained a roll of microfilm or something that these mob guys or whatever had smuggled in. (didn't that also happen on a Family Ties vacation???) Head of the Class went to Russia for a Brain Bowl type thing. Eric, the "rebel", had family there as well, IIRC. And Arvid and the other nerd guy met these two hot Russian chicks who called them by the names of the 1st two dogs in space, and later, the game winning question was, What were the names of the first two dogs in space?
I can't even tell you how much I love 80's TV, even though I was too young to watch a lot of it when it originally ran . . .

I just read that there are plans for a Facts of Life reunion TV movie.
I can't wait to see Lisa Whelchel ("Blair") again...she was the butter on Old Fezz's muffin thru-out the 80's.

oh yeah, i forgot we were dealing with 70's and 80's shows. in that case, i remeber that the brady bunch went to the Grand Canyon, and that could be when they were also at the ghost town, i'm not sure. It could, however, be a completely different vacation episode, but again, i'm not sure.
this is competely off the subject...well, not reall because it is an 80's show, but i've always thought that there should be a Magnum P.I full legnth feature film. Anyone agree with me?i love that show.

OK, so this question has been grinding on me for awhile now but I finally confirmed that the Facts of Life crew did do a 'vacation episode'/TV movie thing (other than the Australia trip mentioned above by MollyCule). They all went to Paris! Check out X-Entertainment's explanation of this.

I'm sure you've all had sleepless nights over this.

70's/80's shows? Happy Days went to a dude ranch. Where Fonzie rode the bull. And they went to California. Where Fonzie jumped the shark. I can't remember any others off the top of my head, but I know those two happened.
