Parking downtown, 3 hours: I only park in front of my parent's house.
Cost of an hour of my time: pretty cheap...get it while you can.

Wow... I haven't paid $1.47-$1.59 for gas in about a month. (Ours literally jumped 40 cents in the course of two days!)

One interesting thing to note: 87 octane gas at Racetrac in Fredericksburg, VA this past weekend was -- get this -- $1.28.

In Leesburg, VA:
Gallon of 87 octane gas: $1.51
Movie ticket: $7.75, I think (I only go to matinees on Sundays, which are between $4 and $5)
Gallon of milk: Not sure -- 1/2 gallon is $1.49
Sunday paper: $1.50, I believe.
Current trendy coffee: Don't know. I'm a tea drinker. :)
Parking downtown, 3 hours: Downtown Leesburg? Up to 2 hours is Free in the parking garage. After that, I believe it's only a buck or two an hour.

Say, Ryan, let us know how that Priceline card works once you have it. I found out by luck that with my CapitalOne card, I automatically get 10% off on all gas purchases - a nifty feature, which helps immensely.

MSNBC was running a report on the gas prices this morning, and the national average is $1.58 - though in Chicago proper, it's $2.12. I paid $1.94 the other day. grrr.

Movie ticket: $8.50-$10 (but I get mine for $4.50 each from connections123.com + $60 yearly fee, which I definitely make up for going to the movies once a week)

Gallon of milk: $3.85-$4.25 at the grocery store (but I get the same brand, same date, for $2.49 at the gas station--why is it that milk is always so cheap at almost any gas station?)

Sunday paper: $2 at the stand, $1 home delivery (I don't buy it)

Current trendy coffee: $6 at StarBUCKS (I make my own at home)

Parking downtown, 3 hours: $6.00-$24, take your pick. My job has its own free lot.
