I always talk about Parker Lewis. It's weird that it only had two seasons. Killed too soon like Get A Life. The show was definately up there in creative and abstrast writing.
Timothy Stack was his dad (Dick Dietrich, Notch Johnson.) Corin Nemec was an emcee down with Brian Green and David Faustino when he was a wee lad. I went to a camp once where a counselor looked identical to Kubiak, and he had heard it before, it was crazy.

I never really got too much into PLCL, but the few episodes I saw I did like. The writing was quite funny and original, better than SBTB (yes, blasphemy).

I remember PLCL doing some interesting things with camera angles and lighting too. I remember Ms. Musso often being shot with weird close-ups and freaky lighting.

it was by no means like saved by the bell...the very idea is insulting to the show..you're making broad jumps because of stupid stuff like "belding and musso were both principals" and "parker and zack were both the declared leaders of their groups"....jerry wasn't that much like screech, and parker was not very much like zack...not to mention the fact that saved by the bell was a sack of crap..

Melanie Chartoff was definitely the hottest principal ever on television. It's a shame we don't see more of her, but she did latch on to the "Rugrats" empire as the voice of Didi Pickles, so it's a least a small comfort to know she's doing well.

Actually, the first two seasons were great... I really should get the "Disaster at Nick's diner" ending of season 2 on tape... But the third season was really pointless... Then again I do suppose that the "Whacky Highjinks" of seasons 1-2 would get old... so I guess it's a good thing the show died when it did.

Loved some of that stuff though...

Well, you have to search for them at the right times - It's not a very popular song, and I'm probably one of the 5-6 people who have it...

Try searching once every 3 hours on saturdays - I'm almost certain to be on-line and, have kazza + e-donkey running.

As for episodes, I mostly saw them in german... ?

All you buds are gonna love this. The first 20 episodes of PLCL are available via P2P (eDonkey) from the Digital Archive Project (www.dapcentral.org). Takes forever and a day to download one 23-min episode by DSL, and DAP has some strict rules about setting up eDonkey, but it's worth it just to see them again. Anyone who'd rather get the set in the mail, I've burned them to 7 VCD disks and I'm sure we can come to some non-profit arrangement, not a problem. I'm hunting down the episodes after #120...

Now, if Fox would just release the set on DVD, we wouldn't have to doo all this sneaky downloading...
