I love gift certificates - you get exactly what you that way. Also, there is something just plain fun about going shopping "with somebody else's money."

Some gift cards are like credit cards where you have a limit but can spend beyond that as long as the person who gave it to you is still paying for it. I think there awesome, I always feel weird buying a gift for someone who I know but im not really good friends with or who isn't in my family. I'd rather get a gift card than a semi-crappy gift anyday. Now that we're on the subject, Mitch Hedberg is a shitty comedian

They are good, i got like 10 for christmas, i remember when i saw my first ones, it was at kohls, i stole like 10 because i thought they were like business cards. Well since the cashier has to activate them it didnt really matter
