Sorry. This Ping just brought me back to the really lame conversations kids would have in college gathered in a dorm room. You know, when kids will talk about anything to pretend they're in a conversation that's too important to leave and actually do school work. There would always be somebody who would start a conversation about dying in a dream, only to wake up at the last second--just before impact if the dream were about falling out of a building, for example. Then someone would say, you know, if you don't wake up when that happens, you really die. And then the conversation would really go off into the wild speculation zone.

Of course, I always had dreams about drowning and I would wake up just as I would run out of air. I've since fought waking up to see what would happen, and now I find that instead of drowning, I effortlessly swim forever, though in my dreams, I am perpetually amazed at my sudden unforeseen ability to breathe under water. It fools me every time. Stupid sleeping brain.

So my answer to the original Ping, is, yes. All the time. I find it annoying. Can't I just have a normal dream? I mean all the time it's like "Hey! I can breath under water!" And then I wake up and it's like "It was that dream again, dumbass."

Wow, perfection, last night i had a dream that i was being hunted by a tiger because i pissed where he did, but i didnt mean to i meant to be peeing on my friend and he was all like staring at me and he like bit my hand, but it wasnt hard and like something happened and this kid in my math class had him died up in a tree with fireworks and he was like if i shoot him he will explode but all tha happened was he hovvered so i was eric ur stupid he just gonna get maddr so i ran and found a lady picking blueberrys and i ran somemore and i like did a spiderman jump thing through a thorn bush, i was in woods. and i ran some more and found houses to hide in but then i woke up. Then like went back to sleep and found out that the tiger actually burned to death or something im not sure then i went and showed my neighbors and told them the strory and they didnt care. and i woke up again and had this dream i was at a buffet and got alot of food and spent alot of time making all ym tacos then i was helping a worker at the place find the video games that you could win and i was trying to get then to fit back in the drawer and i was moving in lieksuper slow motion so it was annoying so then this guy was like u look awfully suspicious and i was like no blah blah i explaind everything up there but then i lost all my tacos i made and i was sad, so i woke up again, and then i had another dream but i dont feel like typing it

oh yea and the night before i like couldnt see well in any of my dreams i dont no y but we were having a body surfing competition for like a real world road rules thing and i thought i was drowning cause my eyes were closed and i had a stuffy nose so i could breath through that and i like oh no i am underwater still and i didnt open my eyes, it was weird, but we won the body surfing competition and like the news was on the tv so it seeemed liek people were talking to me cause i wasnt like all the way dreaming and they were talking about the lady who got killed and her fetus was stolen and it was werid, i had fun body surfing tho, even tho it was a dream i had fun, its onyl when u have some ability or something cool and u wake up and dont have it anymore when dreams suck.

I was told by a friend who has a background in psychology that I had an NDE after hearing a dream I had:

I was outside at night surrounded by a crowd, and a suicide bomber had a bomb which exploded. This was in the US I believe. I saw the blast coming towards me and I knew I was going to die. When it hit me, I really felt little pain and I felt like I was being pulled out of my body. I felt like I was moving upwards, and I was surrounded by blackness all around me as I moved up. After a few seconds, I arrived in what I knew to be heaven (I am a Christian). What I saw around me was amazingly beautiful. The colors of my surroundings were so incredibly vivid, unlike anything on earth. My body had no weight to it, and the clothes I was wearing were SO soft, unlike anything on earth. The animals that were there seemed like those here, but there was something different about them, I'm just not sure exactly what. I was with other people whom I knew there but I am not sure how I knew them. Their clothes had color whereas mine were white. I saw an incredible city in the distance but I could not go there. Jesus came to us and spoke to us, then He came to me. As I was with Him, it was like being with someone I've known forever. He told me that I had to go back because people needed to know that He is real, and that they needed to be ready for what He has prepared, which is an awesome future for everyone who accepts Him. He also talked about the problems with the church and what needed to be done to change things. I didn't want to leave but because He needed me, I realized how important it was that I do it. Our communication was faster than the verbal speech we use here; it was like instantaneous. So I returned to my body and found myself with my mother. This was unlike any other dream I have ever had.
