I didn't see the one with half women and half man, but I did see one similar to that, only this person was Michael Jackson on one side of his face and body (and the other one was the boy he allegedly molested - tee hee couldn't resist that) and the other half of him was Paul McCartney and the person doing it really did a good job at it.

Uhm... I actually appeared on the cheesy Puttin' on the Hits show. I did a Spike Jones song called "You Always Hurt the One You Love," dressed in a plaid tuxedo.

Uh...I also "performed" on this ultra-embarrassing show with three of my best friends from UCLA back in 1984. We did "Magic" by The Cars while "playing" real instruments and trying to do magic tricks at the same time. I recently found the two-decade old videotape, and I'm now digitizing it...eeesh.

i was on the show also, me and 2 other girls,we dressed up like old ladys and sang proud mary. we were called bertha and the body busters! we had alot of fun for sure!

I'm looking for this show's Christmas show. It had a little girl doing Brenda Lee's "Rockin around the Christmas tree", she won. There was also a Diana Ross song and a Beach Boys song. I want it for my daughter who still remembers watching it when she was really young. I had it on VHS, but lost it. It may seem "uncool", but it was a great memory, watching and her singing along. I would love to find it again. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks, Becky.

I was on the last season in 1987. A good friend of mine and I did "Dancin' in the Streets" by Mick and Bowie. We dressed up as milk men and were called "The Milk Dudes."

Yeah, I was on the show too. Me and two friends did "Lean on Me" with a puppet. We made it to the finals, but lost to a very good act "19" by Paul Hardcastle.

It may look cheesy now, but there was nothing more fun than being 21 in Hollywood for two weeks in the same hotel with 50 other insane acts. Good times for sure....

I'll confess, I actually googled this show. I loved the Paul Hardcastle "19" act... absolutely freaky, and served extraordinarily well to drive home the point of the song. I remember the "Endless Love" act too (ie: half Ritchie / half Ross). My hubby doesn't remember this show, and I'd love to find an episode w/ "19" so that he can see it...
