Car Emergency Kit

Do you have an emergency kit for your car? I do. It’s not this thorough, but I’ve got the standard car repair stuff (tire goo for holes, large battery-less shakeable flashlight, bottles of water, jumper cables (I think)) in addition to things like baby wipes for my hands, a leash in case we happen upon a stray dog or cat that’s in danger as well as a cat-sized box for transporting them to a vet, and a few other things which escape me right now. I have most of it in a Rubbermaid clear plastic container that I keep in the trunk.

I’ve ended up using almost everything in my emergency kit at one time or another, most notably when I broke down on a Sunday night on the Cross-Bronx Expressway with an overheated engine. So, they’re good things to have.

We have an honest to gosh emergency kit, which we purchased on the internets. It’s nice to have the piece of mind.

Um, no. We have a first aid kit, but it doesn’t include most of the stuff Ryan has. See, I’m not the only one who likes to be prepared!

Paul just got pwned!

What is this then?
