Like most of you, I go to a lot of stores. But there are some that rarely, if ever, see any of my cash.
For instance I can't remember the last time I was at a Baskin-Robbins. Just a pure Baskin-Robbins, not one of those Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin' Donuts things. It's easily been years - I simply don't really need their ice cream anymore, what with other good stuff out there. The only thing I crave there is their peanut butter and chocolate but, frankly, I can make a better version at home.
In contrast, however, I can remember the last time I was at a Wal-Mart: it was 2003 and I was on a business trip in Utah. It was 9pm and I needed a shaving razor; lo and behold, Wal-Mart was the only place open at that ungodly (ha!) hour.
The final one I'll mention more as a joke is that I did, once, shop at Aeropostale - as they put it, "Mall-based specialty retailer of casual apparel for young people." The year was 1993 and I went with a friend to buy some clothes for a date. Yep. That worked out well.
