For our 9th anniversary – which of course means a Just the Ten of Us-related Ping – I thought we should take a look at one of the younger Lubbock kids: J.R., played by Matt Shakman.
The biggest thing worth noting from Matt’s iMDB entry is that he hasn’t done one lick of acting since JTTOU. Nothing. Zilch. Zero. So what has he been doing? Ah, scroll down on that entry my friends; Matt has been directing just about every TV show on the air today. Or at least every show I watch… and some I don’t. Psych, House, Ugly Betty, Six Feet Under, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia… the list goes on. It’s impressive!
It’s weird that his landmark stint on JTTOU isn’t mentioned here. Huh.
Anyway, Matt, I applaud your splendid television career. Just don’t forget where you came from, okay?
