The Aaron Neville Milk Ad

There are very few good commercials. Especially radio commercials; not only do they have to deal with the lack of visuals, they have to grab your attention while you’re probably doing something more important (like driving a 4000-pound vehicle down an icy highway).

Yes, there are very few good commercials. And Pingers, I’ve heard one of the worst. As part of a new marketing campaign, those zany dairy farmers have put together a series of milk radio ads. These ads include singers such as Aretha Franklin and Aaron Neville. But these people don’t just talk about the power of milk, oh no: they sing it.

I was pleased to find more information at the Nevilles site (yes, they have one). Moreso, I was very pleased to find a link on the Nevilles page to a RealAudio version of the song.

It’s got one thing nearly in common with milk: lots of cheese. Lots and lots of cheese. I think you owe it to yourself to listen in. You can thank me later.

I’d also like a copy of the Neville ad sent to me please! Can’t find it anywhere and I’ve been searching for 6 years. I have a friend that doesn’t believe me.

The search is over friends. www[dot]hollowayworldwide[dot]com. Click ‘Radio’ then click the right-pointing arrow till you get to the 3rd song. God bless you Dave Holloway – audio magic.

Great work, Chris. The commercial is… well… something else.
