The Daily Ping

There were rumors of a Ping book, but those were started on the internet.

Napkins

A few years ago, my wife and I were at Costco when I spotted it. A package of over 1,000 napkins for $7.00. “Think about it!” I said to her, “We’ll never need to buy napkins again. At least, not for another year.”

I’m sad to report that we are finally, finally down to the last few napkins from that package.

While I might be chastised for purchasing paper napkins instead of reusable, cloth ones (and I shan’t disagree with that sentiment,) I also think it’s rather fabulous that a large package of napkins could last for multiple years. We moved these napkins with us from Chicago to Denver, folks.

Super late follow up: we now use cloth napkins. I think we bought one more pack of napkins, but then went the cloth route due to all of the waste.

We are also using cloth napkins now. We keep paper on hand for when we have lots of houseguests for numerous days, but one package lasts us way longer now.

We’ve also replaced most of our paper towel usage with these: http://www.twistclean.com/eurospongecloth/

What is this then?
