I’d like to make a modest proposal: when catering breakfast for a group, note that breakfast doesn’t consist of sweet pastries and fruit. Now, I like those things, but they’re not breakfast. They’re a mid-morning snack. Breakfast has to be a little more substantial than that.
I put the blame on the ridiculous continental breakfast for blurring the definition. Continental. Pffft!
