What type of sleeper are you?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve preferred sleeping on my side. Sure, I’ll sometimes sleep on my back or stomach and generally I’ll go through all the positions during the night, but being on my side is the way I feel most comfortable most of the time. Apparently, I shouldn’t be doing this, but apparently, I’m in good company with 41% of the public.

Then there’s one weird pose I sometimes find myself in without realizing it: the vampire pose (aka “the coffin pose”), on my back with my arms crossed across my chest. No idea where this one comes from and there’s no chance I’m looking up what that says about my personality.

Clearly, no Pingers sleep.

I’ve been working so much recently in the past week or so, I’d barely slept at all. Yesterday, I had a chance to head back to the hotel early, and get some sleep. 12.5 hours later, I’m a new man.

Back to the original question, I sleep on my stomach. Yeah, I’m sure it’s not the best thing, but it’s the only way I can really doze off. On my stomach, hugging the pillow, head turned to the side a little bit…..zzzzzzz..

I prefer sleeping on my side. However, sometimes my knees are so sore that sleeping on my back is the only option. Since I’m prone to snoring sleeping on my back, my wife gets an earful. C’est la vie – at least *I* don’t wake myself up snoring as she is prone.

One of my favorite, and quite odd ways of sleeping is by propping up my right arm using my left creating a pseudo-tripod. It’s weird, but it does feel comfortable.

Ciao,

What is this then?
