Printing tickets

Here’s another recent technological innovation I really dig: printing out tickets for a movie or show from your own computer.

Admission.com has begun offering e-tickets for various events. You buy your ticket online and then print out the ticket with a unique barcode. Even better, they drop the handling charge if you print your own ticket!

The more commonplace this becomes, the better — I’m all for anything that eliminates surcharges (especially with rip-off artists like TicketMaster monopolizing the ticket industry). Has anyone actually had a chance to try this out? From what I understand, it’s only available in Seattle, currently. -ram

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
