Livin’ the Irresponsible Life

A question for those of you that live with significant others: when your better half is out of town and you’re left to survive on your own for several nights, how long does it take you before you’re acting like a college student and ignoring sleep?

It took me only a few hours.

After all, is there really any problem with getting to bed at 3am just because you have to be up at 7:30? (Answer: yes.)

Takes me about ten minutes. I don't know why... but it does.

Same here. When I have no one to be responsible for but myself, it's a lot easier to be irresponsible.

It doesn't take me long--if there's something I want to watch on tv that is. Otherwise I'll all for getting a good night's sleep.
When I was gone for a week, a little bit ago, Nick said he stayed up very late every night playing Civilization III. Nothing like losing your sense of time when you're playing a game as Cleopatra or someone and building railroads in the 1500's!

I don't have a significant other but in college when my roomate was out of town I usually would stay up much later than usual. Now I am at home with the folks and same case applies. I like to push the 4 am boundaries when people are on trips.

I think having a sig.oth. (Ha! Like anyone could love this!) would make me stay up even later than I do.

Robert, that reminds me, today in class the prof. was saying stuff about "impulsive turn-on," "penetration depth," "rising slowly, not rising quickly," and "the smoothness of the curve." ... and the best part was he was talking about dirt!

Pinger Rob has all the responsibility in this relationship. I don't act noticeably different when he's not home. Maybe I talk to myself more. :) But I'm a night owl anyway.

What is this then?
