I Hate Plastic Wrap

Whatever happened to those plastic wraps that had elastic? They came in different colors, and looked like a hair net for your food.

Other than that, plastic wrap is a severe pain in the ass.

Plastic Wrap can work well if you wet the end that you want to stick. I found this out while washing dishes and putting food away...it sticks better if it's a little wet first!

store your plastic wrap in the freezer (or it might be the refrigerator, i can't remember). anyhow, that keeps the plastic wrap from clinging to itself when you're trying to apply it to a bowl.

Restaurant grade plastic wrap blows the most, everytime oil prices go up the stuff gets thinner and thinner. They keep adding fancy cutters to it and the end result is a tattered box that doesn't support the roll. Towards the end of the roll the stuff runs and it takes 5 minutes to fix. Nobody dislikes this crap more thanI!!

Plastic wrap (cling wrap) is a polyethylene plastic that is covered in a film, most of the time it is polyisobutylene, this film is of low density and sticks well to itself and metal, along with other materials. This is why cling wrap is sticky to itself and certain things.
