Select-a-Size

There’s not much you can do to a paper towel to make it more useful. Sure, some brands are slightly more absorbent than others, but in general, they’re all pretty much the same. Then came Bounty Select-a-Size, where the tear points for the paper towels are placed at smaller intervals. The idea is that you only have to use what you need, and though I haven’t found myself tearing off more than a sheet at a time, I’m getting a lot more use out of each roll. Most of the time you need a paper towel, it’s for a small job, so being able to easily tear off a small portion of a paper towel is a simple, but important invention for today’s terrorist-filled world.

This was tested recently in the McAleer household and I'm pleased to say that it met with our approval. The ability to have a half-size paper towel is really quite nice, and the ability to have a paper towel the size of Rhode Island is even nicer.

Clearly, the Select-a-Size is a blow to the terrorists.

I agree - I like the smaller size portion. Before, I used to tear them in half myself without the added perforation.

No way! This is a scam created by terrorists! Who else could possibly have sucecced in making the humble paper towel more confusing, not to mention costly????????

I've been using pick-a-size for years--I hate the waste of larger towels.

Because they last about three times longer than conventional paper towels, they are considerably cheaper.

What is this then?
