Las Vegas

Dear everyone,

Las Vegas is insane.

It just blew me away. I was in Vegas this week on a business conference (no – really) and naturally had time to check out casinos and gamble. But the entire place is so ridiculously over-the-top and outrageous that by the time I left on Wednesday, I was pretty much worn out.

But it’s an experience and everyone should go at least once, I think. Seeing the sheer crassness of the Strip is worth it, as is the Bellagio’s water show and going to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Plus, the bathrooms are all really, really nice.

I agree. I was there on business a couple of years ago. There are doing something to the air in the casinos though - because I can not stay up to 3 AM every night - but when in Vegas it was usually 3 AM when I thought is was still midnight.

I haven't been to Vegas, but I did go to Foxwoods Casino in CT. I don't mean to be a downer, but I was appalled with the arrogant 14k urinals that collected our hydrogen waste.

I could imagine an illegal alien telling stories to the starving back home of the golden toilets of America.

By the way, I lost all my money in about thirty minutes of gambling. They don't fool around at Foxwoods. At least in New Orleans, the same amount of money would last long enough for me to get a few house drinks and allow me to rationalize my losses that way.

Not that I'm bitter, or anything.

I mean, really, it has nothing to do with the money I lost.

Money that I was supposed to spend on my mom's surgery, may she rest in peace.

I went ou there for a weeks holiday and stayed in the crazy stratosphere at the end of the strip. We did not have enough time to see everything we wanted to, but loved it. Really want to go back one day. I live in the UK, makes for an expensive holiday!

What is this then?
