Fall TV

The fall TV season is almost upon us. Though it seems to get later and later each year, it just seems to build anticipation even more.

Actually, it just makes me forget about shows I used to obsess over. There’s too much time between the end of one season and the start of the next. That’s a good thing, though. It makes me get off the couch after work.

Anyway. Are there any shows this coming season you’re looking forward to? There’s not a single debut I’m psyched for and the only two return shows I’m really anxious for are The Office and 24. Smallville a little bit, but not a lot. Otherwise, meh for TV.

I don’t remember how long it was since I actually looked forward to a new season of television. Pretty much any program series I now watch I get through Netflix. My wife, however, is a Survivor slave. I don’t get it; here’s a program that actually encourages: lying, backstabbing, and being two-faced. Perhaps it’s a primer for ‘real life.’ Whatever… it keeps her occupied for an hour a week.

What dedication. Don’t you have something else to keep you busy this weekend? 😉

Battlestar Galactica premiers 10/6, and they are doing cool little webisodes all Sept to fill in what has happened since the end of last season.

24 won’t be back until Jan.

I just can’t watch the The Office. Having seen the originals from England well before most people had even heard of it (thanks to a British coworker), I just can’t get into the American version.

Lost is the big one of course, as I got sucked in to that show last season. We are also avid fans of The Office and How I Met Your Mother.

Interested in seeing what happens with The Nine, Jericho, and Six Degrees. And we decided to give House a try this season and really like it… good show.

Lost, The Office, Prison Break (even though it is, in no way, believeable) The Amazing Race, and tomorrow, it’s Season 35 of The Price is Right!

The only new show that really has me right now is Justice. Victor Garber just oozes confidence in his new role. Think of it as CSI meets Law and Order. Fantastic.

2006 was the first year since I think 1992 that I started watching current TV. I have started to enjoy many shows including House, 2 & Half Men, American Idol, George Lopez, and a few others. I look forward to any new episodes of the above. The new one I’m looking forward to Ugly Betty, as I think I wrote before. This one has a long history and there was a version in Colombia, and also one in Mexico before.

Right now I am in India until sometime after the fall season is started. Here during prime time there are literally some 25 different Hindi soap operas, and I only found 1 or 2 channels with western shows (besides CNN etc). So you guys who have your choice of so many latest and greatest shows to watch count your blessings!!

What is this then?
