Writer’s Strike: Day 1

Since The Daily Ping employs a large staff of writers, we are hit particularly hard by the current writers strike. We tried to pay our writers out of our own salaries, a la Jon Stewart, but we ran out of money in a couple of days. Please forgive us while we employ some scab writers that we’ve hired based on their Livejournals.

Life is sad. Life is dull. I don’t think any of the kids at school like me. I sit in the corner of the cafeteria, writing poetry and painting my nails black.

Sigh. I think I’ll go listen to some screamo and join this community.

Get a grip!

I hate unions. Let ’em starve and bring on the scabs! My miserable 2¢.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
