A stupid phone feature idea

I was thinking today that it would be cool if phones could interpret phone numbers left on a voice mail message and automatically dial them by request. So, when someone says, “You can call me at…” you’d be able to hit a single button and your magic phone would dial that number.

Of course, this is a stupid idea because a.) most phones have caller ID, so unless the number is different, it would be a redundant feature and b.) voice recognition technology still pretty much sucks.

And, that, my friends, is my stupid phone feature idea.
