Cardboard Sleeves for Coffee Cups

Better late than never.

In addition to the very odd bags of milk in Canada, another thing I noticed was this: out of the four coffee shops I visited, only one had cardboard sleeves for their paper coffee cups.

I’m not quite sure why this was. Coffee in Canada was just as hot as it was in the US, if not hotter. And here I was, forced to carry coffee by the lid… with a death grip, no less. Frustrating? Very.

So to my pals in Canada: why aren’t there more cardboard sleeves? I mean, we can recycle them and everything. Or is there some secret reason why Tim Hortons doesn’t offer them? Hm?
