I have to admit at being a bit surprised recently noticing that a new Little Caesars pizza shop had opened up nearby. Why? I didn’t think Little Caesars still existed.
Growing up, LC was our go-to for pizza night. They always had good deals and the pizza was… pizza. So it was appropriate for a night dedicated to eating pizza.
But I think the last time I was anywhere near an actual Little Caesars was 20 years ago. I seriously thought they’d been beaten into oblivion by Dominoes, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s. But sure enough, they’re still around and are the 4th largest pizza chain in the country. They’ve even revived their long-time catchphrase, “Pizza! Pizza!”
When was the last time you took part in a Little Caesers bargain?

I haven’t had a LC pizza since college. However, they are opening a new location near my house, so I may give it a try, just for nostalgia’s sake. I assume I won’t be impressed.

Jamie and I were just talking about this because we saw someone dressed up like the Little Caesars guy on the side of the road this weekend. Don’t worry. It wasn’t just some random guy. I’m assuming he was being paid to do it.
We didn’t have Little Caesars anywhere near us when I was growing up. But I tried it once and didn’t really like it much. But that was a long time ago…
