While I’m writing this Ping, I’m enjoying a scone. Scones are pretty good, although they’re not my all-time favorite baked goods. Those would be… not biscotti.
Let’s talk about how biscotti is made. Let’s take a cookie loaf and burn the hell out of it. Now, slice it into pieces which require a dip of some sort to simply be edible. There you have it. Biscotti.
This is not to say that biscotti is the worst thing ever. But they’re certainly pretty bad, like Friends or PBR. Biscotti: it’s the Friends of baked goods.
