A coworker and I were talking about Willy Wonka – the original film – when I recalled, pretty vividly, my least favorite scene of the film.
This scene scared the hell out of me as a little kid. Just seeing them enter the tunnel again, and hearing all of that weird crazed dialogue, still gives me a little bit of the shakes inside. Such a weird, weird scene. I suspect this was added to the film for two reasons: 1) to scare the hell out of kids, and 2) to scare the hell out of kids.
