Usain Bolt is fast!

This year I’ve come to appreciate the Olympics a little bit. I’m not an athlete, but I can respect the level of effort and dedication that goes into this stuff.

Usain Bolt, the fastest man on the planet, set an Olympic record today by running 100 meters in 9.63 seconds. So since you started reading, he could have done it again. And by the time you finish, he could have done it yet again.

The New York Times put together a stunning infographic that compares Bolt’s record run against all other previous winners. That is, at 9.63s, where were all of the other runners? This shows you.

Also, Usain Bolt is an amazing name.
