Collections

I love coming across people’s random collections of things, things you’d never think to collect. You can find a bunch of them on the cleverly simple What a Collection.

One of the collections I enjoyed seeing most is featured on this page of diner models. Not only does each small diner model have a description written up, but the diner is placed on a menu for the picture, a nice touch. Another guy on the site collects diner models, too.

Other neat/odd collections include bathtub postcards, Belgian movie posters, Lincoln assassination-related items, and traffic signals (the WAC page redirects offsite). I’m surprised no one has one for yixing teapots, so I may need to start one.

Any other particularly odd ones that I missed?

I don't know, but I believe that in western parts of PA, it is spelled "dinor." I saw it on a diner documentary.

What is this then?
