Blockbusters

One of the more difficult game shows, looking back, had to be Blockbusters, hosted by the sexy, sexy Bill Cullen. The concept of the game was pretty cool, working your way across a board of letters, where the answer to each question started with those letters. Even more quirky was that the game was always one person versus two people, with the two person-team having to move five places across the board while the single person had to move four places vertically.

But the questions… I watched a bonus round this morning and would have been unable to answer any of the questions. Many of them had to do with current events, which of course, are now decades old.

I felt stupid.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
