Audissey Guides aim to provide travelers with audio tours narrated by locals rather than tour guides, combined with funky downtempo beats and ambient noise and you’ve got a heck of an idea there, Brownie.
Some of the narration still feels a bit forced, but it’s still pretty cool. When I travel (those rare occasions), I like to use a variety of guides combined with research on the web to get a true local flavor of where I go. I think something like Audissey is perfect for the person who likes to hit a city running.
I look forward to hearing more, particularly when New York City’s available.
