Expensive Clothing

We’ve talked about losing expensive things. Now I want to know about expensive clothing. (Why? Er… uh… I’m doing research! That’s it, research!)

The most expensive shirt I’ve ever had on was a $150 Burberry shirt. It was lovely. It wasn’t worth the additional $100-$120 over most shirts I own, to me, but it was pleasant. (I mostly wanted to see what it was like, honestly, and if I really needed the shirt.)

And the most expensive jacket? I tried it on yesterday: a $675 jacket. Six hundred and seventy five dollars. Even after the remarkable discount (thanks, Nordstrom Rack!) I wasn’t able to pay 2.5 times the cost of the jacket I ended up buying.

Although it was kind of fun to try out these expensive clothes I’m definitely not at an income level where those prices are okay by me. So tell me, have you worn anything worth more than $675?

wedding dresses usually cost more than that. Mine was around that price because I bought the fabric and had it made.

What is this then?
