Waiting for Wifi

Yesterday I spent a lot of time waiting. It was time for our car to get a bunch of service done. I spent about 3.5 hours at one location and 3 at another. All told, that was a lot of downtime.

I brought my computer with me mostly in case these places had wifi – and because I had other important computery stuff to do. But neither place had wifi. Why is that?

Yeah, I know that it costs money every month. And the business needs to sign up. And they need to secure their network. That’s fine; even if it were a closed wifi network solely for customers in the waiting area that would be swell.

In any event having access to the internet would have beat the craptastic magazine selections.

What is this then?
