Finding what you’ve lost

Every so often I misplace something. Like, say, a cell phone. Sure, I’ve “retraced my steps” and even tried calling my own number to see if I could hear the vibration, but no luck. Are there any tried and true methods you have to find what you’ve lost?

Back when I was a prayin’ man, I’d rely on St. Anthony, who actually didn’t do too bad a job.

I have no secret for finding things although the following has worked for me:

Go out and replace the lost item. The lost item will magically appear within minutes!

This thing has bailed me out of many lost item jams.

I still have to call my cell phone every night to remember where it is. Guilty as charged.

What is this then?
