Super Tuesday

So, apparently today is an important day in politics. People are voting, or something.

Here in Virginia, we don’t vote until next Tuesday, so our votes may not even make a difference. But at least we have open primaries. We don’t register our affiliation with either party, so anyone registered in Virginia can vote in either primary (but not both).

Every state has different rules… what does your state do for their primary? Did you vote today? Are you supporting the Ping’s unofficially endorsed candidate?

The Republicans should be done after today, but Hilliary – Obama will still be battling it out. So voting in the democratic primary will be meaningful.

I’m looking forward to next week’s election, as I always do. I think if McCain locks it in today, there will be a bit of cross-over, probably for Obama.

I can’t support the Impaler, mostly because of this:

“In an effort to help her, I used my (once) friendship
with Jeb Bush and his brother President Bush, to get
Federal Agencies assistance in helping her.”

Too bad Zod’s not getting very much coverage.

I didn’t vote. The reason, you must declare a party. I am one of those odd people who like people from both parties, thus it makes it impossible to vote in a primary. Then, if you declare a party affiliation, you will be bombarded with junk mail being sent to your house for every single candidate running in that party. Illinois’ voting system really is a travesty.

How is making people vote strictly for one party even legal?

Greg: In short, it’s a primary, not a general election. But even though I’m registered with a party I was given a choice of ballots when I voted Tuesday. Interestful!

What is this then?
