You may remember my love for a certain stupid show called Wife Swap. Well, I fear that ABC is trying to send it the way of Trading Spouses; that is, they’re trying to kill it. It’s ratings were only in the 6.5-7.0 range this season and next season, they’re moving it to the death slot: Friday at 8pm. It’s been done to Freaks and Geeks, it’s been done to Undeclared and now, Wife Swap.
(Though that was written sarcastically, it still pains me to even kiddingly mention F&G and Undeclared in the same sentence as Wife Swap.)
I guess after their fifth season, they figure they’ll running out of ways to do the messy vegetarian liberal hippie artists swapping with the Republican Christian homeschooling hunters theme.
Sigh.

I was going to say they could the hippie vegan homeschoolers swapping with the rich Republican private schoolers, but then I remembered they did that one too.
They hippie homeschoolers were from VA.

Maybe they need to toss some of those “exceedingly liberal” liberals into a military family for a bit. Now *that’d* stir up a load of muck!

Good!!! Kill the show!!! With extreme prejudice! It’s way past time for this show to disappear! I’ve seen this show’s negative effects on some of the families it victimized.
Wife Swap in the same league as F&G? No, more like just a step or two below professional wrestling (rasslin’) or Jerry Springer.
So, yes, kill the show. I for one will enjoy watching it die. Wait, I thought I saw it twitch (Pulls weapon, **BLAM!!!**). There, happy ending! 🙂
