Noisy Toys

Aside from the overwhelming plasticness, the thing about kids’ toys that becomes painfully obvious once you have a little human of your own is the noise that accompanies most toys. And for whatever reason, most come with only two volumes: off and FREAKING LOUD. It’s so common that this morning I was noticing how quiet one particular toy was and found myself silenting thanking the manufacturers for not going overboard.

I should also take a second to thank Pinger COD and his wife for buying us one of our daughter’s noisiest gifts. We think of you guys every time our ear drums pierce. Truth be told, it’s fair payback for all of the noisy toys we’ve bought other people’s kids.

Michelle says that it was on your baby registry list, so you have only yourselves to blame!

That very well could be true! 🙂

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
