Something I’ve noticed lately: TV shows, even new ones, use a fakey fake camcorder overlay when showing something from an individual’s perspective. You know, with the big “REC” and the giant red circle and the white frames. Sometimes they also dumb down the image quality and make it grainy and interlaced… like something out of 1984.
Do any camcorders actually do this anymore?
