Strawberry Netflix Alarm Clock

I was reading a post about Netflix’s astounding dominance in streaming video when I noticed something peculiar about the devices listed:

60 Million Netflix-ready devices sold, including alarm clocks, phones, tablet computers, DVRs, TVs, home theater systems, streaming boxes, and more.

Wait. Alarm clocks? Netflix on alarm clocks? This seems interesting.

Unfortunately, it’s not terribly interesting. I do believe the reference is to the Sony Dash, not to be confused with Anil, which does have a dominant alarm clock function. So… yeah.

Between you and me I was hoping that the reference was to a clock such as this. I don’t know about you, but I think streaming Netflix on a teeny-tiny black-and-white LCD display would be the best!
