Yello’s “Oh Yeah” at regular speed

“Oh Yeah” by Yello was a cultural touchstone in the mid-80s. Popularized by Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Twix commercials (an odd pairing… maybe), the song was everywhere for a very short time. But it lives on in the hearts and minds of people who like bands named after colors.

Why, just a few days ago I wondered aloud, “Has anyone sped up the vocals of ‘Oh Yeah’ to regular speed?” And sure enough, someone has.

It sounds awful. You must hear it.
