Memolane

The idea behind Memolane is simple: archive your Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and other social media updates and present them in a timeline view. While I like the idea, I don’t actually use it this way very often. However, I have found myself surprised at how much I enjoy their daily “x years ago today…” e-mails with photos, posts, and tweets from the past. I look forward to seeing the e-mail each day and more than once, it’s stirred up some happy memories or strong emotions.

Neat service that I hope sticks around for a while.

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
