Kookychow

I’m a big fan of websites devoted to oddball foods, so Kookychow fills the bill. The infamous Potted Meat Food Product is there, but more importantly so is this.

Pork brains in gravy.

Thankfully it only has 1,170% of your recommended daily allowance of cholesterol. Take that, eggs!

Aaah, but you have to drain the brains. Maybe all of the cholesterol was in the gravy?

It sure beats out Hardee’s Monster Thickburger, though!

Oh my word. Pork spleens? I nearly lost my lunch over the very thought.

I have had homemade ravioli that included fresh dandelion greens at a Williams Sonoma cooking class.

I need to stop thinking about this Ping. ew.

I need to put my brain on a low-cholestrol diet, apparently.

I had to pass that site on to my restaurant partner. She knows my liking of menudo and brought that up. Her, being a good Wisconsonite, probably was THRILLED over the Deutschländer Dogs in a Can. Also, as is the wont of the Germanics, everything is smothered in a gravy. That site has successfully killed that penchant! LOL.

Thanks, I couldn’t have done it myself.

Ciao,

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
