Printing photos

When I was in college, I went to the supermarket to pick up my photos as I did to pick up groceries. Finishing off a roll, filling out the envelope, and dropping into the slot was a regular routine. And sometimes I’d use Seattle Filmworks (after having gotten a load of their “free” film) and wait two weeks to receive my photos back in the mail. These days, of course, that never happens. I take thousands more pictures in a year than I ever did before, but I really only get prints made a few times a year and most often, the prints are gifts.

How often do you print photos now? And not so much at home, but ones that you pick up at the store.

And do you ever still use film? I haven’t in years, at this point, even though we have quite the collection of vintage film cameras.
