Your Favorite Cancelled TV Shows

Okay, okay, tell me what TV shows got canned that you liked… or maybe obsessed over. I’m curious if anyone can dig up something very very old, or very very esoteric.

Mine? I still liked The Ben Stiller Show, due in part to Janeane Garofalo’s presence. And when it was first on the air, I did enjoy My So-Called Life quite a bit; I remember watching it and thinking that it came as close to "reality" as a show could. Of course, now our lives are pretty much as depicted on The Real World…. -pm

Firefly – Cowboy space pirates! Who couldn’t love it. It’s like the Han/Chewy lifestyle, with great acting, writing, action and humor!

Dead Like Me – canceled just when the secondary characters (Joy, Reggie) really started getting interesting.

There was a show on MTV (I think) about some twentysomething Gen-Xers who lived in Austin, Texas. That’s all I can remember about it, but it was funny.

does anyone know the early 90’s sitcom whose theme song was ob-la-di ob-la-da by the beatles? The only thing I remember about the intro was a girl quickly grabbing a glass of orange juice off the counter

That’s an easy one, Corby: Life Goes On.

YES!!!! does anyone know what the name of the show on MTV in the 90’s was called?? It was in Austin Texas and was about a 20’s Gen-Xer girl and her 2 stupid guy freinds?? I have been dying to remember the name. There was an Armadillo in the opening credits?? What was it called??

BTW, the best show from my kid days was on Nickalodeon when they first started, called The Tomorrow People. It was a BBC show from the 1970’s about telepathic kids. LOVED it!

How about Misfits of Science, the Flash, Firefly, Wolf Lake, and Werewolf to name a few. I blinked and they all got cancelled. These were shows I looked foward to. Starting to think I’m jinxed. Too many of the shows I loved and were really good just get canned for no good reason. Anyway…done complaining…but it still gets me riled up.

I am trying desperately to remember the name of a sci fi show that came on in 1988 (or possibly 87 or 90) I am fairly sure it didn’t last more than one season.
I remember it came out at about the same time as Quantam Leap.

It had this little strange silver ball robot thing that followed this guy around and talked to him and stuff.

Please help me with the name of this show (and any websites)
My husband thinks I am nuts.

I do know the name of that show with the girl whose dad lived in another planet. I believe it is called Out of this World, or something like that. And I don’t know the name of the show with the little silver robot ball, but I do remember that show, so you are not nuts!!!!! Peace!

My all time favorites!!! (some have already been mentioned)

1) VAMPIRE HIGH
2) POPULAR
3) SAILOR MOON
4) FREAKY STORIES
5) ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK
6) GOOSEBUMPS (remember the dummy?)
7) TALES FROM THE CRYPT(not the cartoon one, there was one before that with real people, it was on really late)

And there’s this one animated show, I can’t remember the name of it and I don’t think it was very popular but it started off with some woman (black hair, long black dress) usually in a bar or club or something telling stories. There was one episode where two people fell in love in a cyber world, her character was a giesha and his was a boxer. Every episode had a different story but I liked them all. The first one I ever saw was where this undercover cop suspected her partner of something and killed his wife. She get’s the death penalty and ends up in some weird prison.
It was a one of those late night cartoons but I loved it and can’t remember the name!! HELP!!!

Boy I sure hope there is someone out there that can answer my question……Cuz I’ve tried all over the place & so far no luck !!!

There was a show in the late 90’s (perhaps into th 2000’s) that was scifi based….

There were 4 main characters ( 3 men & a woman) with the focus being a time portal……(no not stargate)……the oldest of the men was playing an Englishman….They (as far as can be recalled) only jumped thru time but only on Earth (as opposed to Stargate where they jump from planet to planet or galaxy to galaxy)….

Any thoughts as to the name of the show or where I might go to find the answer….

Thanks
