What wouldn’t you buy online?

Now that we’re in the final stages of the holiday season, I’ve found I can rest easy thanks to buying all but one of my Christmas gifts online. And, yes, you can buy a lot of stuff online – everything from food and groceries (Webvan) to cars (Greenlight).

Online car sales, though, haven’t been that stellar. It seems like buying a car online would be rather difficult because, well, you can’t test drive it. But if you know exactly what you want it could come in handy.

The question up top remains, though. Are there any things you wouldn’t buy online? I still think I wouldn’t buy clothing online. Except for things from our Ping store, of course. -pm

I wouldn't buy condoms. By the time they arrive, it's just too damned late.

That's a tough one, Paul, since I buy so much stuff online... I would probably not buy clothing outside of t-shirts, though I've bought shoes (only one brand, though, whose sizing quirks I'm familiar with). I also would not likely buy a car if I wasn't positive that was the one I wanted.

I wouldn't buy blank video tapes online. Only because they're ALWAYS on sale at a bnm. :)

A lot of people have trouble buying a TV online, but I wouldn't, I don't think.

I would avoid buying spare body parts online -- they usually aren't shipped with proper refrigeration.

What is this then?
