I like pizza. I have liked pizza almost all of my life. While it’s not an American food, it’s one of those foods that Americans have co-opted enough to be called American (even though it really isn’t.)
So, the greater question is, what do you like on your pizza? I think my favorite pizza is one that’s homemade – a homemade crust, with pizza sauce, lots of good cheese (soy cheese is fine!), fake pepperoni and fake meat. Mmmmm. But for ordering out, I’m pretty much like any Chicagoan: I like a good Chicago style pizza. Deep dish, thick… the type of pizza that actually forces one to use a knife and fork, which is otherwise a no-no in my book. -pm
