WWF Superstars Ice Cream Bars

How many of you remember WWF Superstars Ice Cream Bars?

Last night I was enjoying a Cookie Monster at a Cheddar’s restaurant (enjoyable, if not a wee bit unhealthy). At one point, the taste of the cookie reminded me exactly of the cookie taste on a Superstar bar.

The Superstar bar was pretty good. It was a vanilla soft cookie wafer, imprinted with a WWF star, with a thick layer of vanilla ice cream and a thin layer of chocolate underneath, all on a stick. They weren’t the best ice cream bars ever, but they were certainly good. And nothing was more satisfying than biting off Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart’s head off. -pm

Yes, I remember these... I never had any but I do have old copies of WWF Magazine that have ads for them... I'll have to dig one up and scan it...

I would have eaten a bunch when I was younger, but they must have sold them only at shows, cuz I never saw 'em anywhere. Then again, I never did any shopping when I was in elementary school.

Chris--Ryan has admitted to much worse (in the eyes of some). WWF Magazine is probably a source of pride for him!

And actually, the WWF Ice Cream Bars lasted up until last year or so. They just kept making them quietly, putting such stars as Chyna, Gangrel and Double J on them. But alas, I have no way to prove this to any of you, because I ingested them all. :) I think they've finally gone the way of the do-do though. I found 'em yummy nonetheless.

As Scott said they lasted until recently. What happened was they brought them back probably the summer after my freshman year of college. I was working construction and the ice-cream man would come by and he had them, so of course I always bought them. The only way you could obtain the old ones was at shows, the newer release of them were through ice-cream men. I have some of the trading cards from the boxes in my car, because I got one in june from an ice-cream man in PA. So be on the lookout next summer, if you have ince-cream men in your area.

Ice cream men actually sell ice cream? I patronized my local Good Humor man to by Roofies and "the pot."

Robert-
Funny you should mention that ice-cream man that was selling pot to kids a few years back. I bought some WWF bars from him once.

Yea, they still make it. I just bought one and it tasted good! It cost me 2 dollars from an Ice Cream car... But the ice cream man said is expansive now for a box.

My mother surprised me with one today. It has Chris Jericho imprinted on it. However, unlike the one Santos got, this one was $3.

Wow, it's pretty cool to know there are other people out there like me who really enjoy these damn fine ice cream bars.

Myself, like many of you, suddenly got a craving for one of the bars and it took me forever to finally receive one. No one seemed to carry them anymore....

Anyways, I was driving with my mom one day and we saw an ice cream truck parked in the driveway (this was a dead giveaway that the owner lived there).

The owner just happened to be outside, so we asked if she carried the WWE bars. She said she didn't, but she could probably order some. And she did just that. I now have a box that contains about 24 of the bars. :D It's a good life.... but anyways, yeah, the reason most don't carry it anymore is because they have to charge a certain expensive price. And most kids these days don't have that kind of money on them when they want to buy some ice cream. The boxes are advance and have cutout figures/pictures you can display. I guess the artwork like previously mentioned here is what raises the price so high.

Anyways, good luck with your search. I'm sure some icecream man still carries it.... if not, ask them to order it for you.

Wrestling Ice Cream Bars are the best...You can get them from the ice cream man or from select stores that are special enough to carry them...for the past few days me and a friend went on a search to find these great rare items and we found a store locally that sells them..they are possible to find just to let you know.

Vero February 18, 2007, 11:46 pm

I WANT ONE NOW!!!!

john February 21, 2007, 9:09 pm

where do u find these bars in florida plz let me no.

Brandon March 27, 2007, 12:47 am

OK I BOUGHT THE MAGAZINE WITH THE 101 THINGS EVERY DIE HARD WWE FAN SHOULD DO BEFORE HE DIES,AND I NEED TO KNOW WHERE TO FIND THESE ICE CREAM BARS IN ONTARIO!!!
IM ALMOST DONE THE LSIT IM 14 YEARS OLD AND IV’E DONE HALF THESE THING ON THE LIST,I JUST GOT SUSPENDED FOR CROTCH CHOPPING MY TEACHER,BUT IF YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND THESE ICE CREAM BARS IN ONTARIO EMAIL ME AT, hhh.twist.of.fate@hotmail.com !!!! PLEASE I NEED TO DO THIS LIST

Ryan March 27, 2007, 1:51 pm

Brandon, you should know that the Twist of Fate isn’t HHH’s finishing move. Kind of silly to combine the two in your e-mail address.

Greg March 27, 2007, 8:34 pm

I’m a little worried. If Brandon still has things on the list that he needs to do AND he’s already 14, I don’t know if he’ll be able to get it all done in time. He’s only got 2, maybe 3, good years left.

Phil April 20, 2007, 1:23 am

Any idea where you can buy a box of them online and have them sent to your house?? I MUST HAVE THEM!!

They're still here May 12, 2007, 12:25 am

Just had one and John Cena was on the box. The dissapointing thing was that nothing was printed on the cookie. the store owner said he’d be getting more in, but I haven’t seen any more. If someone knows where to order them I’d love to know.

sajitario357 May 23, 2007, 5:24 am

OK Everybody if we all check out every place that has a chain of stores worldwide then some one is bound to find something. Right!

hbkdx28 June 11, 2007, 7:20 pm

What company makes them?

wwe June 22, 2007, 11:50 pm

i would like a torrie wilson bar. then i can officially say that i ate her.

Jazzy June 25, 2007, 8:33 pm

The ice cream man always has them.

Herbie August 3, 2007, 5:11 pm

Dani, you are my hero. I haven’t seen them here in NY in about a decade

Adam October 8, 2007, 2:52 pm

I was on a hunt for these things and couldn’t find them anywhere in michigan, but i finally found them at Pars Ice Cream Distributer in Detroit, i bought 4 cases (like 90 bars).

17853 Conant
Detroit, MI 48212
(313) 366-3620

I live about an hour and a half away so i had to bring a crapload of ice and coolers so none of them melted. The box says these ten wrestlers are currently on the bars: Batista, Bobby Lashley, Carlito, CM Punk, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Jeff Hardy, John Cena, Rob Van Dam, & Triple H. But i’ve also gotten Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rey Mysterio, and The Undertaker.

Bill January 20, 2008, 8:15 am

they WERE the best ice cream bars ever! i SWEAR they were! WHY don’t they sell them in the Cleveland, OH area??? Does anyone know where they sell them in the Cleveland area?

Lou Mammana January 28, 2008, 9:19 pm

I lovvvvedd these bars. Heck, I would always get one after school every day at a shop run by a lady who lived close to me. I was so freakin upset when they stopped making them-they need to bring them back, and I definitely think they’d seel really well. Superstar bar lovers need to reunite to get them brought back.

Rob the Photog February 10, 2008, 8:26 am

I’d say check your ice cream trucks, i have never seen these in stores but, i have always found them from the ice cream man

DAISY May 13, 2008, 10:16 pm

i love wwe ice creams they only sell at ice cream trucks though

brian June 2, 2008, 11:04 am

The Ice cream company Popsicle currently has the rights to make them, but they are known to the ice cream industry as “impulse Items”. I don’t know what that means but I took it as

“There is no chance in Hell you are getting this through us!”

-Popsicle

cian mcevoy April 11, 2009, 9:45 am
