Another Guilty Pleasure: AFV

I almost hate to admit this — especially after I’ve gotten coming out of the Golden Girls closet out of the way, but…

I still like America’s Funniest Home Videos. Sure, Bob Saget’s no longer the host (it’s now Tom Bergeron, host of the defunct new version of Card Sharks), but for some reason, people falling off of ladders and children getting food all over themselves is still funny. It’s not one of those shows I seek out, but if I’m blindly channel surfing and it’s on, I’ll stop.

I fully expect to be ridiculed for this. Bring it on.

My roommate likes it, and I must admit a slight fondness for the show. You never can get enough footage of idiot dad getting hit in the balls by his kids.

Haven't seen the show in a while. Do the little cute babies always win still (puking) When bob saget used to host it there'd be three nominees- Essentially the cute little baby, the italian grandparents sliding down one of their grandchildren's playsets and getting stuck, and the pet who either falls down stupid or chases another pet. Kids, grandparents, pets. Same thing all the time

I never miss funniest video shows. They broadcast moments captured out of real life where expensive property gets broken, people are injured or are made fools of, or their pets do embarassing things, and it makes me grateful that as bad as my luck is, I've never managed to be on the show. But I keep checking just to be sure...
