The Daily Ping

There were rumors of a Ping book, but those were started on the internet.

Name That Candy Bar!

If you’re up for a brain teaser this Sunday, albeit one that doesn’t require knowledge of physics or calculus, try out Name That Candy Bar! It’s a swell test of your candy knowledge – and comes from the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Every day, I keep finding more reasons to live in Minnesota.

In addition, I would like to note the Candy Bar Wrapper Archive. It includes scans of many candy bar wrappers (surprisingly), along with nutritional information. While the site hasn’t been updated in some time, it’s still all intact – and even includes a “Candy Bars NOW!” icon for us old-school web users. The site has been around since at least 1995 – making it older than the Daily Ping, which is an accomplishment.

Ya know, I haven't been able to find a Whatchamacallit (however they spelled that) in a long while. Does anyone know if they're still manufacturing those sweet delights?

Indeed, they still make Whatchamacallit's. Not sure where you are, but in Virginia, they are readily available to put a smile on your face and a couple of pounds on your waist. :)

What is this then?

The Daily Ping is the web's finest compendium of toilet information and Oreo™® research. Too much? Okay, okay, it's a daily opinion column written by two friends. Did we mention we've been doing this for over ten years? Tell me more!
