Moment of Panic

mom?ent?of?pan?ic n. 1. opening your eyes on a workday and reading “10:30” on your clock, not realizing you changed the time by accident when turning your alarm off; 2. walking into the men’s room and realizing that your fly is already down; 3. while driving, looking away from the road for a second and looking back to see the car in front of you braking and as you rapidly approach.

Feel free to add your own.

Soo...Ryan...I was gonna ask you how your morning was going.....but now....

Worst Moment of Panic: Forgetting something that your girlfriend/wife wanted you to remember, and trying to fake like you know.

Her: "Honey, do you know what today is?"

You: "Umm..sure I do, do you remember?"

Her: "You forgot, didn't you?"

You: "No, no..I just wanted to surprise you later on, that's all.."

This line of dialogue can be used for faking knowledge of a conversation that you had with her, but have forgotten, as well. You can thank me later...if you remember.

Being out in public somewhere with your kids, and suddenly losing sight of them in a crowd.

Ryan --

Good thing for you. If all those things
happened on a Wednesday, I would
HATE to be around on a Monday. ;-)

1. Waking up and seeing 9:00 on the clock... then realizing it's a weekend day.
2. Looking in your rear view mirror and seeing a rather large truck right behind you not braking when everyone else is.
3. Waking up and realizing that you slept through your alarm on the morning of finals in college (luckily, I barely made it in time).

I actually missed a final in college - just flat out had a mind fart and forgot to go to it. That induced panic. However, it turned out the prof had done the same thing in college so he let me make it up

My moment of panic comes when I realize that people like Paige (see above) are allowed out of the house.

Flying past a hidden state trooper/police while going well over the speed limit.
Even worse yet, doing the above and not seeing the cop until he's flashing his blue & reds in your rearview mirror.
