I Want My Birthday Donuts.

A little over nine months ago, I asked if online petitions were worthwhile. I did so by demonstrating their worthlessness by starting a petition to get myself a dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme on my birthday.

Well, here it is, my birthday. And in the past nine months, my petition has gotten eight lousy signatures. Eight! And I even made up one.

I guess that proves that online petitions are pretty lame. But I still want my donuts.

Should Krispy Kreme make specially design donuts to reflect the numbers in your age or will any old round donut do?

Look on the bright side, Paul:

If the petition works with that few signatures, there won't be a whole lot of people to share the donuts with.

That said, you've got nine..remember
who to hook up. ;)

Speaking of free food on birthday's, doesn't Denny's still offer a free Grand Slam breakfast (or something) on your birthday? It's a step down from Krispy Kreme, but if it's free....;-)

One of the Mexican restaurant chains in the VA/MD area offers a free dinner on or around your birthday (a few days before or after) if you fill out a card. Not a bad deal.

Applebee's used to offer a free dessert which is useless now that they have eliminated their Chocolate Glacier. I think the brownies are ok.

Famous Dave's offers any free entree for a birthday gift. All you have to do is fill out a card and you'll get a postcard in the mail. I did it last year and ate like a king.
