In case you’ve watched Saturday Night Live in the past few years you might agree with my assessment that Weekend Update is the best part of the show. The chemistry of Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon was superb.
But now that Jimmy has left the show to move on to making poorly-received movies that will play well with 13-year-olds and 42-year-old moms and dads who think, “Gosh, I could be hip if I saw the latest flick from the SNL laugh factory, ‘Jimmy Romano: Gigolo Undercover Brother Sheep!’“, the question is: who is better? Fay or Fallon?
My money goes with Tina Fey. Her advantage of being the head writer of the show is unsurpassed by Fallon’s physical comedy. While Fallon has slightly better timing, Fey has wit. Together, they are strong. But individually, Fey beats Fallon.
